Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Biology lessons across KS3, GCSE, and A Level
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly
- Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives
- Uphold and promote the school's values and safeguarding policies
- Participate in professional development and staff training
- Support extracurricular activities related to Science and Biology
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or a related subject
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching Science at KS3 and Biology at GCSE and A Level
- Strong record of delivering successful student outcomes
- Experience in safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Commitment to student and staff well-being
Preferred
- Experience with teaching in an international or British curriculum setting
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and online learning platforms
- Experience in leading or contributing to Science department initiatives
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
