Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons in Business Studies and Economics aligned with the National Curriculum of England.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to support academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement a progressive and innovative curriculum.
- Mentor and support Early Career Teachers through structured induction programs.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
- Stay up to date with educational trends and continuously improve teaching practices.
- Engage in Continuing Professional Development to enhance subject knowledge and pedagogical skills.
- Support students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills relevant to Business and Economics.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a UK Department for Education teacher reference number or equivalent non-UK qualifications.
- Fluent in English.
- Relevant degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in teaching at the secondary level.
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
Preferred
- Experience with the National Curriculum of England or equivalent.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in mentoring or supporting Early Career Teachers.
- Familiarity with international education environments.
