Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons in Business Studies and Economics aligned with the National Curriculum of England.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to support academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement a progressive and innovative curriculum.
  • Mentor and support Early Career Teachers through structured induction programs.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Stay up to date with educational trends and continuously improve teaching practices.
  • Engage in Continuing Professional Development to enhance subject knowledge and pedagogical skills.
  • Support students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills relevant to Business and Economics.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a UK Department for Education teacher reference number or equivalent non-UK qualifications.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Relevant degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching at the secondary level.
  • Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.

Preferred

  • Experience with the National Curriculum of England or equivalent.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in mentoring or supporting Early Career Teachers.
  • Familiarity with international education environments.
