The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary Business Teacher to join its team. This role involves teaching IBDP Business Management and IGCSE Business Studies, with opportunities to contribute in other subject areas. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach IBDP Business Management and IGCSE Business Studies to a diverse range of students.
  • Support student leadership and voice through meaningful engagement and mentorship.
  • Contribute to the development of the curriculum and other subject areas aligned with expertise.
  • Promote the school’s Core Principles of Challenge, Community, and Care in daily practice.
  • Participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that enhance student learning and well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in business education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject expertise in Business Studies or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching at the secondary level, preferably in an international school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of IBDP Business Management and IGCSE Business Studies curricula.
  • Commitment to the school’s Core Principles of Challenge, Community, and Care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a multi-faith and multicultural environment.
  • Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum and IB Diploma Programme.
  • Experience with the Skills for Life Programme or similar student development initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor students in leadership roles.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and resources for teaching and learning.
