The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary Chemistry Teacher (IBDP) to join our growing team and play a key role in establishing our IBDP programme. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a school that is rapidly expanding and shaping the future of education in Malta.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality IBDP Chemistry lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the IBDP curriculum.
- Support students through individualised pastoral care and academic guidance.
- Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance the school’s academic standards.
- Undertake tutor responsibilities and contribute to student well-being.
- Stay up to date with current developments in IBDP Chemistry and educational best practices.
- Prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that promote deep learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in IBDP Chemistry.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching and learning.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality education in a British curriculum setting.
- Experience in a school environment with a strong co-curricular programme.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in setting up or developing an IBDP programme.
- Experience in a school with a strong pastoral care ethos.
- Familiarity with international education standards and practices.
- Experience with teaching in a multicultural environment.
