Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Computer Science/ICT lessons in line with the National Curriculum for England.
- Support student progress and attainment through differentiated teaching and assessment strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a broad and balanced curriculum.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events that enhance student engagement and learning.
- Stay up to date with developments in the field of Computer Science and integrate new technologies into teaching.
- Provide pastoral care and guidance to students as required.
- Contribute to the school’s mission of ‘Every Child, Every Mind and Everybody matters’.
- Support the school's initiatives, including the AI curriculum developed in partnership with MIT.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge in Computer Science/ICT.
- At least 3 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum for England.
- Experience of teaching English from KS3 to KS5.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Ability to teach another subject.
- Experience with AI or technology-based curricula.
- Experience with international education systems or cross-cultural environments.
