Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Prepare and assess students for CIE IGCSE, AS, and A2 Computer Science examinations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Support student progress through individualised feedback and mentorship.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in Computer Science.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum of England for computing.
  • Experience teaching Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Familiarity with CIE IGCSE, AS, and A2 Computer Science qualifications.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.
  • Demonstrated ability to use technology in the classroom.
