Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Prepare and assess students for CIE IGCSE, AS, and A2 Computer Science examinations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
- Support student progress through individualised feedback and mentorship.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- Stay updated with current trends and developments in Computer Science education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in Computer Science.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum of England for computing.
- Experience teaching Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Familiarity with CIE IGCSE, AS, and A2 Computer Science qualifications.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Preferred
- Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.
- Demonstrated ability to use technology in the classroom.
