Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Computer Science across Key Stage 3, IGCSE, and IB Diploma curricula.

  • Support students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and digital skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.

  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students, ensuring their progress and well-being.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A teaching degree or post-graduate diploma (B.Ed, M.Ed, PGCE or equivalent).
  • Experience in teaching Computer Science at the secondary level.
  • Familiarity with the British education system and the National Curriculum.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching the IB Diploma or IB Careers Programme.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Experience with digital tools and technologies used in modern computing education.
  • Ability to support students with special educational needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL).
