The Opportunity:

As a Secondary Curriculum Coordinator, you will lead curriculum development, professional learning, and data-informed decision-making to support student achievement and faculty growth. This role is essential in ensuring a coherent, aligned, and responsive curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ongoing process of curriculum review, documentation, and refinement across all subject areas.
  • Maintain curriculum documentation in Atlas and ensure consistency and quality across departments.
  • Co-lead alignment of vertical and horizontal articulation across grade levels and divisions.
  • Guide teachers in the design, delivery, and assessment of effective learning experiences.
  • Oversee the management and analysis of schoolwide assessment data to inform instruction.
  • Support the evaluation of student performance and program effectiveness for continuous improvement.
  • Lead section-level professional development planning, including In-Service Days and curriculum-based workshops.
  • Co-lead the design and implementation of whole-school professional learning experiences.
  • Develop systems for collecting, analyzing, and reporting student learning data in accessible formats.
  • Collaborate with AP/IB Coordinators to ensure alignment between international program standards and school goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Current teaching certification
  • Minimum of 5 years teaching experience
  • Knowledge of curriculum development, implementation, and assessment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to collaborate

Preferred

  • Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction
  • Experience in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation
  • Leadership experience in organizing or coordinating in-service programs and professional development processes
  • Experience in international schools
