The Opportunity:
As a Secondary English Teacher, you will inspire students and support their academic growth using the National Curriculum for England. This role is ideal for educators passionate about teaching Language and Literature up to GCSE and A-Level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in English Language and Literature to students aged 11 to 18.
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support a personalized approach to learning.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance.
- Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant UK teaching qualification: minimum of a BEd. or BA/BSc + PGCE/QTS in English.
- A minimum of 2 years of full-time teaching experience in a British school either internationally or in the UK.
- Experience of teaching Language and Literature up to GCSE and A-Level.
Preferred
- Experience working in an international school setting.
