Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students from KS3 to KS5.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the National Curriculum for England.
- Support student attainment through differentiated instruction and formative assessment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
- Participate in staff development and professional learning opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the school ethos.
- Contribute to extra-curricular activities and school events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge.
- At least 3 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum for England.
- Experience of teaching English from KS3 to KS5.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Preferred
- Experience teaching additional subjects.
- Familiarity with AI-based learning initiatives.
- Experience with international curriculum delivery.
