The Opportunity:

As a Secondary English Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and fostering a vibrant learning environment. You will be responsible for creating engaging lessons, supporting student development, and contributing to the school’s innovative curriculum and global initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dynamic, inclusive, and effective lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
  • Support enrichment activities, school events, and initiatives to boost student participation and school spirit.
  • Strengthen parental engagement through clear communication and regular progress updates.
  • Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans that meet diverse learning needs.
  • Use data-driven strategies to enhance student achievement and support learning outcomes.
  • Integrate digital tools to enhance learning experiences and promote innovation.
  • Serve as a Form Tutor and contribute to the IB curriculum and student wellbeing.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and reflect on teaching practices to improve effectiveness.
  • Uphold school values and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, HDipEd, or equivalent).
  • Current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure for all countries lived in.
  • Compliance with visa requirements for working.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.

Preferred

  • Experience in an international or bilingual educational setting.
  • Familiarity with the IB curriculum.
  • Experience with digital learning tools and technologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
