The Opportunity:
As a Secondary English Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and fostering a vibrant learning environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver dynamic, inclusive, and effective lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
- Support enrichment activities, school events, and initiatives to boost student participation and school spirit.
- Strengthen parental engagement through clear communication and regular progress updates.
- Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans that meet diverse learning needs.
- Use data-driven strategies to enhance student achievement and support learning outcomes.
- Integrate digital tools to enhance learning experiences and promote innovation.
- Serve as a Form Tutor and contribute to the IB curriculum and student wellbeing.
- Engage in continuous professional development and reflect on teaching practices to improve effectiveness.
- Uphold school values and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, HDipEd, or equivalent).
- Current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure for all countries lived in.
- Compliance with visa requirements for working.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
Preferred
- Experience in an international or bilingual educational setting.
- Familiarity with the IB curriculum.
- Experience with digital learning tools and technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
