Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality French lessons aligned with the IB and Swiss Baccalaureate curricula.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and academic success.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary and culturally rich learning experiences.
• Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
• Support students in developing language skills, critical thinking, and global awareness.
• Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives to enhance teaching and learning.
• Engage with parents and the wider school community to promote student well-being and achievement.
• Stay current with developments in French education and pedagogy.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
• Strong command of spoken and written French.
• Familiarity with the IB and Swiss Baccalaureate curricula.
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments.
• Commitment to student well-being and academic excellence.

Preferred

• Experience teaching in an international or bilingual setting.
• Experience with technology-enhanced learning and digital tools.
• Fluency in additional languages such as German or Arabic.
• Experience with STEAM education or interdisciplinary teaching approaches.
• Leadership experience or a passion for mentoring colleagues.
