Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality French lessons aligned with the IB and Swiss Baccalaureate curricula.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and academic success.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary and culturally rich learning experiences.
- Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
- Support students in developing language skills, critical thinking, and global awareness.
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives to enhance teaching and learning.
- Engage with parents and the wider school community to promote student well-being and achievement.
- Stay current with developments in French education and pedagogy.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
- Strong command of spoken and written French.
- Familiarity with the IB and Swiss Baccalaureate curricula.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments.
- Commitment to student well-being and academic excellence.
Preferred
- Experience teaching in an international or bilingual setting.
- Experience with technology-enhanced learning and digital tools.
- Fluency in additional languages such as German or Arabic.
- Experience with STEAM education or interdisciplinary teaching approaches.
- Leadership experience or a passion for mentoring colleagues.
