The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Geography lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
- Develop and implement engaging, interactive teaching strategies to enhance student learning and attainment.
- Support the school’s mission by contributing to the development of cross-curricular and enrichment programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment for students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events that promote student engagement and community spirit.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge in Geography.
- At least 3 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum for England.
- Proven ability to teach Geography at KS3 to KS5 levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience teaching additional subjects.
- Familiarity with AI and technology-enhanced learning programs.
- Experience with international curricula or cross-cultural environments.
- Previous involvement in extracurricular or enrichment activities.
