Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and impactful lessons in line with the National Curriculum for England
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes critical thinking and curiosity
- Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor and enhance student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school's academic standards
- Support the school’s mission by integrating cross-curricular themes and real-world applications into lessons
- Participate in professional development and training to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge
- Engage in extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student performance and progress
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge in History
- At least 3 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum for England
- Proven ability to teach History at KS3 to KS5 levels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Preferred
- Experience in teaching additional subjects
- Familiarity with AI and technology-enhanced learning
- Experience working in an international school environment
- Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience
