Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and impactful lessons in line with the National Curriculum for England
  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes critical thinking and curiosity
  • Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor and enhance student progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school's academic standards
  • Support the school’s mission by integrating cross-curricular themes and real-world applications into lessons
  • Participate in professional development and training to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge
  • Engage in extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student performance and progress

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge in History
  • At least 3 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum for England
  • Proven ability to teach History at KS3 to KS5 levels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching additional subjects
  • Familiarity with AI and technology-enhanced learning
  • Experience working in an international school environment
  • Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience
