The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics to students at KS3 and KS4, preparing them for IGCSE exams
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that foster academic and personal development
  • Maintain high standards of student behavior, achievement, and classroom management
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes
  • Contribute to the school community through extracurricular activities and events
  • Support students in developing a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Prepare and deliver lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum for England and local requirements
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Secondary Education
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the Secondary level
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to student development and academic success
  • Ability to prepare students for IGCSE examinations

Preferred

  • Experience teaching IGCSE Mathematics in a British school
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum for England
  • Experience with bilingual education and cross-cultural teaching environments
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • A passion for inspiring and motivating students
