Key Responsibilities:
- Teach IBDP Mathematics to secondary students with a focus on student engagement and academic achievement.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that align with the English National Curriculum and international standards.
- Support students through individualised learning and differentiated instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Participate in the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and professional development.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records and assessments of student performance.
- Stay up to date with curriculum developments and pedagogical best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Degree in mathematics or a related discipline.
- A relevant teaching certificate or license.
- A minimum of 3 years full-time teaching experience in a recognised educational institution.
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (GCSE or IGCSE) essential.
Preferred
- Knowledge of the White Rose Maths Curriculum.
- Experience teaching KS5 (A-Level or IBDP).
- Excellent communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the school community.
