Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach IBDP Mathematics to secondary students with a focus on student engagement and academic achievement.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that align with the English National Curriculum and international standards.
  • Support students through individualised learning and differentiated instruction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Participate in the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and professional development.
  • Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records and assessments of student performance.
  • Stay up to date with curriculum developments and pedagogical best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Degree in mathematics or a related discipline.
  • A relevant teaching certificate or license.
  • A minimum of 3 years full-time teaching experience in a recognised educational institution.
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (GCSE or IGCSE) essential.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of the White Rose Maths Curriculum.
  • Experience teaching KS5 (A-Level or IBDP).
  • Excellent communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the school community.
