Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction to students in Years 7–11, following the UK National Curriculum and IGCSE standards.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Support student achievement through personalized learning and differentiated instruction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
  • Participate in the school’s Skills for Life Programme, promoting well-being and personal development.
  • Act as a role model, demonstrating the school’s Core Principles and Strategic Values.
  • Engage in extracurricular activities and school events to support student leadership and community involvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and IGCSE Mathematics.
  • Commitment to the school’s Strategic Values of Challenge, Community, and Care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multi-faith environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Computing or Design and Technology.
  • Familiarity with the British National Curriculum and IB Diploma Programme.
  • Previous experience in a not-for-profit or international school setting.
