Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction aligned with the IB and Swiss Baccalaureate curricula.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and support student learning across subjects.
- Monitor and assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives to promote academic and personal growth.
- Support the school’s commitment to sustainability and global citizenship through curriculum and extracurricular activities.
- Engage with students and parents to build strong relationships and support student success.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and teaching certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the IB and Swiss Baccalaureate curricula.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Preferred
- Experience teaching in an international or bilingual setting.
- Familiarity with multilingual education and cross-cultural communication.
- Proficiency in French or German as a second language.
- Experience with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
