Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction aligned with the IB and Swiss Baccalaureate curricula.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and support student learning across subjects.
  • Monitor and assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
  • Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives to promote academic and personal growth.
  • Support the school’s commitment to sustainability and global citizenship through curriculum and extracurricular activities.
  • Engage with students and parents to build strong relationships and support student success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and teaching certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the IB and Swiss Baccalaureate curricula.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching in an international or bilingual setting.
  • Familiarity with multilingual education and cross-cultural communication.
  • Proficiency in French or German as a second language.
  • Experience with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
