Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality maths lessons aligned with the National Curriculum of England and relevant international standards.
- Develop and implement engaging, inclusive, and effective teaching strategies that promote student achievement and confidence.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support to help students reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver a cohesive and challenging curriculum across key stages.
- Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain and enhance teaching and subject knowledge.
- Support students in extracurricular activities and pastoral care where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
- Contribute to the school’s mission and values through active involvement in school events and community initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a UK Department for Education teacher reference number or equivalent non-UK qualifications.
- Fluent in English.
- Relevant teaching experience, or in the final year of teacher training.
- Commitment to the school’s mission and values.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
Preferred
- Experience with international curricula, such as IGCSE or A Level.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL).
- Experience with Early Career Teacher (ECT) induction programs.
- Experience in a multicultural or international educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
