Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality maths lessons aligned with the National Curriculum of England and relevant international standards.
  • Develop and implement engaging, inclusive, and effective teaching strategies that promote student achievement and confidence.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support to help students reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver a cohesive and challenging curriculum across key stages.
  • Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain and enhance teaching and subject knowledge.
  • Support students in extracurricular activities and pastoral care where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission and values through active involvement in school events and community initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a UK Department for Education teacher reference number or equivalent non-UK qualifications.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Relevant teaching experience, or in the final year of teacher training.
  • Commitment to the school’s mission and values.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.

Preferred

  • Experience with international curricula, such as IGCSE or A Level.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL).
  • Experience with Early Career Teacher (ECT) induction programs.
  • Experience in a multicultural or international educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
