The Opportunity:

A Secondary Maths Teacher is needed to support students in Key Stages 4 and 5, delivering CIE IGCSE, AS, and A2 Maths and Further Maths courses. This role offers a chance to contribute to a school undergoing exciting expansion and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Key Stages 4 and 5 Maths, including CIE IGCSE, AS, and A2 qualifications.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Prepare and assess students in accordance with the National Curriculum of England and CIE standards.
  • Support students through form tutoring and pastoral care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the department.
  • Monitor and track student progress to ensure academic success.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of inspiring education in a caring community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a strong background in Secondary Maths education.
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stages 4 and 5 Maths, including CIE IGCSE, AS, and A2 courses.
  • Fluent in English with a strong understanding of grammar and usage.
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum of England.
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and academic success.

Preferred

  • Experience with Form Tutoring.
  • Background in the International Baccalaureate (IB) or Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).
  • Demonstrated ability to support students through continuous professional development.
  • Experience working in an international school setting.
