Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality music lessons in line with the National Curriculum for England
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies
- Support student progress and attainment through individualised feedback and assessment
- Collaborate with colleagues across the school to enhance the curriculum and student experience
- Participate in co-curricular and extracurricular music activities
- Contribute to the development of the music department and wider school community
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
- Engage in professional development and continuous learning
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge
- At least 3 years experience of the National Curriculum for England
- Experience of teaching English from KS3 to KS5
Preferred
- Ability to teach another subject
- Experience with AI or technology-enhanced teaching methods
- Experience in co-curricular or extracurricular music activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
