The Opportunity:
As a Secondary PE Teacher, you will play a key role in promoting physical activity, teamwork, and well-being among students. You will design and deliver engaging PE lessons that align with the curriculum and support the school’s mission of nurturing confident, healthy, and active learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, curriculum-aligned PE lessons tailored to the needs of a diverse student body.
- Inspire a love for physical activity and well-being through innovative and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Assess and monitor student progress, using data to refine and improve teaching strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects that connect physical education with broader learning goals.
- Lead extracurricular activities and school-wide events that promote health and well-being.
- Stay up to date with educational advancements and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Degree with PGCE/PGDE or QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification) in the relevant subject area.
- A minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred
- Experience teaching the IB curriculum.
- Experience with technology-enhanced learning.
- Additional language skills.
