The Opportunity:

As a Secondary Physics Teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring and educating students following the National Curriculum for England. You will contribute to a supportive and innovative learning environment, helping students achieve academic success and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Physics lessons to students across KS3, GCSE, and A Level.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve academic excellence and develop a lifelong love of learning.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that align with the National Curriculum for England.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Participate in safeguarding and child protection procedures to ensure the well-being of students.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events that promote student engagement and achievement.
  • Stay updated with current developments in Physics education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physics or a related subject, or equivalent qualification.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching all Sciences in KS3 and Physics at GCSE and A Level.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver inspirational lessons and achieve outstanding results.
  • Experience in safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Commitment to the well-being of students and staff.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL).
  • Familiarity with international curricula and teaching standards.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Experience in developing and leading extracurricular science programs.
