Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Physics lessons aligned with the National Curriculum of England.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that promote student understanding and curiosity.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver a cohesive and challenging curriculum.
  • Participate in professional development and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.
  • Support students in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to support student learning and development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a UK Department for Education teacher reference number or equivalent non-UK qualifications.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Relevant degree in Physics or a closely related subject.
  • Experience in teaching at the Secondary level.
  • Commitment to the British curriculum and educational standards.

Preferred

  • Experience with Early Career Teacher (ECT) induction programs.
  • Experience in a multicultural or international school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with extracurricular activities and student leadership programs.
  • Familiarity with digital teaching tools and online learning platforms.
