The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary School Mathematics Teacher to join our high-achieving department. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student learning, with a focus on teaching across the full range of GCSE and A-Level qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics across the secondary age range, including GCSE and A-Level.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and policy.
  • Monitor and track student progress, using data to inform teaching and support learning outcomes.
  • Prepare students for public examinations and provide accurate assessments and reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with parents through reports and attendance at Parents’ Evenings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop departmental policies and curricular initiatives.
  • Participate in professional development and keep up to date with curriculum innovations.
  • Support beginning teachers and contribute to the smooth running of the department.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in British Curriculum schools.
  • Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Mathematics.
  • Strong understanding of assessment and examination requirements for KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding teaching and support student progress.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

Preferred

  • Experience with curriculum innovation and project-based learning.
  • Familiarity with the DSIB inspection framework and UAE educational standards.
  • Ability to contribute to extracurricular activities and school events.
