The Opportunity:

As a Secondary School Principal, you will lead and inspire a team of educators to deliver high-quality instruction aligned with the IB curriculum. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the academic and cultural direction of a dynamic, international school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the development of the IB Diploma Programme and MYP curriculum
  • Foster a culture of professional growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning to ensure academic excellence
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and the wider community
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
  • Model and uphold the school’s mission, values, and international-mindedness
  • Provide leadership in curriculum development, assessment, and programme evaluation
  • Inspire and mentor faculty to achieve the highest standards of teaching and learning

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Recognised degree in education and valid secondary school teaching qualification
  • Proven experience in a management or leadership role, preferably within an IB World School
  • Extensive experience in the IB Diploma Programme and MYP, including curriculum leadership and programme development
  • Strong understanding of IB philosophy and commitment to inclusive, internationally minded education
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a professional teaching team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Native-level English speaking and teaching ability

Preferred

  • Experience as an IB Diploma or MYP Coordinator
  • Experience leading IB programme evaluations
  • Training in educational leadership
