Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a secondary school with 220 students aged 11 to 16.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve academic standards and student outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Executive Headteacher and Primary School Principal to ensure consistent educational practices.
- Foster a culture of innovation, staff development, and effective teaching and learning.
- Engage with the school community, parents, and stakeholders to build strong relationships.
- Ensure the school maintains a high standard of behavior, leadership, and management.
- Support the progression of students to Post 16 and Higher Education, including UK-based opportunities.
- Oversee the curriculum and assessment processes to ensure alignment with national standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience as a secondary school leader in the UK.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead a team of educators.
- Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum and GCSE/IGCSE qualifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in developing and implementing school improvement strategies.
- Background in staff development and professional learning.
- Experience in managing school budgets and resources effectively.
- Familiarity with international education systems and cross-cultural leadership.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary on Grade A scale, up to £70,222, with potential for higher based on experience.
- Generous relocation package, including airfares, accommodation, and a relocation grant.
- 25% gratuity upon successful completion of the 4-year contract.
