The Opportunity:
A school is seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary Science Teacher to inspire students and deliver high-quality education aligned with the National Curriculum for England. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to students at both GCSE and A-Level.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that promote curiosity and critical thinking.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to support academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver a cohesive and challenging curriculum.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to support student success.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant UK teaching qualification: minimum of a BEd. or BA/BSc + PGCE/QTS in Science.
- A minimum of 2 years of full-time teaching experience in a British school either internationally or in the UK.
- Experience of teaching GCSE and A-Level Science subjects.
Preferred
- Experience in a school that follows the National Curriculum for England.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Experience in fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable learning environment.
