Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the British National Curriculum and/or Cambridge.
- Foster a pupil-focused learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share innovative ideas.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
- Support students in developing key learning skills both inside and outside the classroom.
- Maintain a warm and nurturing environment that promotes student well-being.
- Stay up to date with developments in science education and incorporate new teaching methods.
- Provide regular feedback to students and parents on academic progress and development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- A certified teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS with an Induction Certificate or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience.
- Extensive experience teaching the British National Curriculum and/or Cambridge.
- Strong subject knowledge in Physics and Science.
- A passion for fostering a pupil-focused learning environment.
- Commitment to professional growth and collaboration.
Preferred
- Experience working with EAL learners.
- Sensitivity to cultural differences and commitment to equity and inclusion.
- International teaching experience.
