Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the IB curriculum, fostering language proficiency and cultural appreciation.
  • Use innovative teaching methods, technology, and authentic contexts to develop communication and global awareness.
  • Assess and monitor student progress regularly, using data to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to create interdisciplinary projects and meaningful learning experiences.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, language clubs, and cultural events to enrich student learning.
  • Engage in professional development and reflective practice to continuously improve teaching effectiveness.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Degree with PGCE/PGDE or QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification) in French, or a related subject
  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience

Preferred

  • Experience teaching the IB MYP/DP
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Passion for languages and intercultural understanding
  • Strong understanding of current pedagogy and student-centered learning
  • Ability to create engaging, inclusive, and innovative classroom experiences
  • Collaborative spirit and commitment to continuous professional growth
