Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Spanish lessons to students across key stages.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
  • Support student progress through formative and summative assessments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Participate in professional development and staff meetings.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge.
  • At least 3 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum for England.
  • Experience of teaching English from KS3 to KS5.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.

Preferred

  • Ability to teach another subject.
  • Experience with AI or technology-enhanced learning.
  • Familiarity with social robots or innovative teaching tools.
