Summary: SEN Support Officer needed at a school in North Lincolnshire, supporting SEND students and improving learning outcomes.

The Opportunity: As a SEN Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the SENCO and delivering tailored interventions to improve learning outcomes for students with special educational needs and disabilities. You will manage Teaching Assistants and ensure effective support across the academy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the SENCO and track pupil progress
- Manage the deployment and performance of Teaching Assistants to ensure efficient support
- Design and deliver bespoke intervention packages to remove barriers to learning
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance student outcomes
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of interventions
- Support the implementation of inclusive practices across the academy
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience in SEN support or a similar role
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work closely with teachers and support staff
- Knowledge of special educational needs and disability frameworks
- Proven ability to deliver impactful interventions
Preferred
- Experience working within a secondary school setting
- Familiarity with inclusive education practices
- Experience with behaviour support strategies
- Understanding of learning support systems and resources
