Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a tailored curriculum that meets the individual needs of each student.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence.

  • Participate in professional development and training to enhance teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
  • Experience or a strong interest in working with children with ASC and SEMH needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Experience in special education settings.
  • Familiarity with SEND frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience with curriculum development for students with complex needs.
  • Flexibility and creativity in teaching approaches.
