Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote student growth and development.
- Collaborate with therapists, parents, and other educators to support holistic student development.
- Maintain detailed records and reports on student progress and behavior.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.
- Provide regular feedback to parents and colleagues on student progress.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Support students in developing life skills and independence.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or Education, with a certified teaching qualification such as PGCE, PGDE, QTS, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3+ years of classroom teaching experience, preferably with special needs children and young adults.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Proactive, caring, and team-oriented attitude.
Preferred
- Experience in writing and implementing detailed educational reports (IEPs).
- Proficiency in Arabic.
