The Opportunity:

As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs and helping them achieve their full potential. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers MPS/UPS plus SEN point 1, with the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a personalised educational programme tailored to the needs of each student
  • Plan, deliver, and review lessons that meet the diverse learning needs of students
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement
  • Support and lead the development of teaching practice within the school
  • Contribute to the day-to-day management and leadership of the school
  • Liaise effectively with internal and external support agencies
  • Participate actively in the school’s self-evaluation and improvement processes

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified to teach in the UK
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with children and young people with communication, severe, profound, or complex learning difficulties

Preferred

  • Experience in special educational needs settings
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum and bespoke curriculum delivery
  • Experience in leading or mentoring other staff
