Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to the needs of students.
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that support the curriculum and promote student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing detailed feedback to parents and carers.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and interventions.
- Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant bachelor’s degree.
- PGCE or PGDE and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Experience working with students with special educational needs.
Preferred
- Certificate in Special Needs.
- Experience with the English National Curriculum.
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with strong potential and a commitment to professional growth.
