The Opportunity:

As a SEN Teacher KS1 and KS2, you will support students with special educational needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment. You will play a vital role in helping students achieve their full potential and contribute to a school that values excellence, innovation, and student well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to the needs of students.
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that support the curriculum and promote student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing detailed feedback to parents and carers.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and interventions.
  • Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree.
  • PGCE or PGDE and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs.

Preferred

  • Certificate in Special Needs.
  • Experience with the English National Curriculum.
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with strong potential and a commitment to professional growth.
