Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with additional needs in their learning, social, and emotional development
- Prepare and deliver engaging classroom activities and learning materials
- Provide individualised support to help pupils achieve their personal goals
- Assist in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers and colleagues to deliver tailored learning experiences
- Promote pupils’ physical and emotional wellbeing through consistent support
- Contribute to a dynamic and stimulating school environment
- Work flexibly across different learning settings and support needs
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- GCSEs grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience working in a SEND setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred
- Experience supporting autistic students
- Experience with communication, sensory, and complex needs
- Experience in a therapeutic or nurturing environment
- Commitment to inclusive education and positive behaviour management
