Key Responsibilities:
- Support children during learning activities, playtime, and mealtimes
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for all children
- Encourage positive behaviour, sharing, and good manners
- Assist with setting up and tidying away resources both indoors and outdoors
- Work closely with staff to meet the needs of each child
- Communicate effectively with both children and adults
- Provide individualized support to children with special educational needs
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom culture
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A Level 2 qualification as a Teaching Assistant
- A warm, caring nature and a genuine enthusiasm for working with young children
- Strong communication skills with both children and adults
- Patience, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team
Preferred
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
- Experience in early years education
- Previous experience in a school or early learning setting
- Knowledge of child development and inclusive teaching practices
