Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with learning activities and care needs in a structured and nurturing environment.
- Promote independence and encourage positive behaviour through consistent and compassionate support.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students to create a sense of safety and belonging.
- Assist teachers in delivering a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculum tailored to individual needs.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse and changing needs of students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C/Level 3 or above)
- Experience working with students with special educational needs (paid or voluntary)
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
Preferred
- Level 2+ qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Knowledge of SEN, SEMH, or ASD
