The Opportunity:
We are seeking a SEND Administrator to support the Deputy Head of Send in managing all administrative tasks related to the role. This includes overseeing the Annual Review Process and improving SEND-related administrative procedures across the school. The ideal candidate will bring strong organisational skills and a passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Deputy Head of Send in managing all administrative tasks related to the role
- Oversee and manage the Annual Review Process efficiently
- Develop and implement improved SEND-related administrative processes across the school
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Provide administrative support during meetings and events
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Excellent administration skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and attention to detail
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a school environment
Preferred
- Understanding or an interest in Special Needs Education and Disabilities
- Experience with SENCO or SEND-related administrative processes
- Problem-solving and creative thinking abilities
- Flexibility and a "can-do" attitude
