Summary:

SEND Administrator role at a specialist school. Support SEND operations and administration.

A school dedicated to supporting students with mild to moderate learning difficulties and additional needs, providing a safe and inclusive environment for learning.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a SEND Administrator to support the Deputy Head of Send in managing all administrative tasks related to the role. This includes overseeing the Annual Review Process and improving SEND-related administrative procedures across the school. The ideal candidate will bring strong organisational skills and a passion for supporting students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Deputy Head of Send in managing all administrative tasks related to the role
  • Oversee and manage the Annual Review Process efficiently
  • Develop and implement improved SEND-related administrative processes across the school
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Provide administrative support during meetings and events
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent administration skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and attention to detail
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a school environment

Preferred

  • Understanding or an interest in Special Needs Education and Disabilities
  • Experience with SENCO or SEND-related administrative processes
  • Problem-solving and creative thinking abilities
  • Flexibility and a "can-do" attitude

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £27,848-£29,833 (pro rata for term time only)
