SEND Interventions Assistant role with a focus on tailored support for students with special educational needs.

The Opportunity:

As a SEND Interventions Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering individualised support to students with special educational needs and disabilities. You will work closely with teachers and professionals to ensure students receive the tailored interventions they need to succeed academically and personally. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and behavioural challenges through targeted interventions and record-keeping
  • Collaborate with the School SENDCo and Assistant SENDCo to deliver interventions and support EHCP outcomes
  • Work with teaching staff, welfare teams, and external professionals to meet student needs
  • Assist pupils in learning activities, adapting support to individual needs and encouraging independence
  • Support the social, emotional, and behavioural development of students using trauma-informed approaches
  • Promote and embed the EPIC values (Excellence, Passion, Integrity, Caring) in all aspects of work
  • Ensure compliance with Independent School Standards and health and safety regulations

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A committed and passionate approach to working with students with SEND and SEMH
  • At least two years’ experience working in a SEND environment or similar provision

Preferred

  • Level 3 TA qualification
