Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide clear financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain robust internal controls and financial reporting systems.
- Collaborate with multiple legal entities and stakeholders across the organization.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of financial records.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Proven experience in finance or audit.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
- Experience working with multiple legal entities.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize under pressure.
- Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
Preferred
- Experience in the education sector or international schools.
- Familiarity with Cognita or similar educational organizations.
- Experience with financial software and accounting systems.
- Leadership experience or team management skills.
