The Opportunity:
As a Senior Administrator, you will provide essential support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, playing a key role in school governance and administrative operations. This is an opportunity to contribute to a school with a clear vision for student success and a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team with administrative and clerical tasks
- Assist in managing school governance and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Coordinate and support meetings, events, and communications across the school
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including parents, local authorities, and the School Business Manager
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures
- Provide administrative support to the School Business Manager and other key departments
- Ensure efficient and effective use of resources and systems
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a senior administrative role, ideally within education
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in supporting school leadership and governance
- Familiarity with educational policies, procedures, and systems
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Preferred
- Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting
- Knowledge of school management systems and software
- Experience in supporting school improvement and professional development initiatives
- Strong understanding of school operations and governance structures
- Experience in managing and coordinating events and meetings
