The Opportunity:

As a Senior Administrator, you will provide essential support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, playing a key role in school governance and administrative operations. This is an opportunity to contribute to a school with a clear vision for student success and a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team with administrative and clerical tasks
  • Assist in managing school governance and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and support meetings, events, and communications across the school
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including parents, local authorities, and the School Business Manager
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures
  • Provide administrative support to the School Business Manager and other key departments
  • Ensure efficient and effective use of resources and systems

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior administrative role, ideally within education
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience in supporting school leadership and governance
  • Familiarity with educational policies, procedures, and systems
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Preferred

  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting
  • Knowledge of school management systems and software
  • Experience in supporting school improvement and professional development initiatives
  • Strong understanding of school operations and governance structures
  • Experience in managing and coordinating events and meetings
