As a Senior Assistant Headteacher, you will play a key role in shaping the vision, strategy, and delivery of academic and pastoral outcomes for key stage 3. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance academic achievement, behaviour, and pastoral care.
- Work closely with the Headteacher to maintain and strengthen the school’s outstanding reputation for pastoral care.
- Lead and support the development of student voice and engagement across the school.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver whole school celebrations, rewards, and events.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of initiatives and strategies on student outcomes.
- Ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the school.
- Support the development of staff and build strong, collaborative relationships with students and families.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the school in line with the School Development Plan.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in a senior educational role.
- Strong strategic planning and implementation skills.
- Experience in managing and developing key stage 3 provision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in leading student voice initiatives.
- Background in pastoral care and behaviour management.
- Experience in working within an academy or multi-academy trust.
- Familiarity with school improvement and development planning.
- Demonstrated success in raising student achievement and engagement.
