Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the academic management team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education across all year groups.
- Support the Head in the strategic development and day-to-day running of the school.
- Oversee the performance and development of Deputy and Assistant Heads, providing guidance and leadership.
- Implement and monitor academic policies and initiatives that align with the school’s mission and values.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture among staff, students, and parents.
- Promote the school’s Catholic ethos and values throughout the academic and pastoral environment.
- Ensure the effective coordination of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
- Contribute to the development of the school’s long-term vision and strategic goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in a senior school role, ideally as a Deputy Head or in a similar position.
- A strong track record of academic achievement and school management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- A deep understanding of Catholic values and the ability to uphold and promote them.
- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
Preferred
- Experience in a Catholic school environment.
- Leadership experience in a boarding school setting.
- A background in strategic planning and school development.
- Experience in managing large teams and driving institutional change.
