Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the academic management team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education across all year groups.
  • Support the Head in the strategic development and day-to-day running of the school.
  • Oversee the performance and development of Deputy and Assistant Heads, providing guidance and leadership.
  • Implement and monitor academic policies and initiatives that align with the school’s mission and values.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture among staff, students, and parents.
  • Promote the school’s Catholic ethos and values throughout the academic and pastoral environment.
  • Ensure the effective coordination of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
  • Contribute to the development of the school’s long-term vision and strategic goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a senior school role, ideally as a Deputy Head or in a similar position.
  • A strong track record of academic achievement and school management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • A deep understanding of Catholic values and the ability to uphold and promote them.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.

Preferred

  • Experience in a Catholic school environment.
  • Leadership experience in a boarding school setting.
  • A background in strategic planning and school development.
  • Experience in managing large teams and driving institutional change.
