The Opportunity:
A school is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Geography Teacher to join its team starting in August 2026. This role offers the opportunity to shape the curriculum, inspire students, and contribute to a vibrant learning community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and collaboratively plan Geography at IB and iGCSE level
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the Key Stage 3 Humanities curriculum
- Participate actively in the After-School Activities team
- Fulfil a pastoral role as a form teacher
- Support leadership initiatives as opportunities arise
- Promote high-quality assessment practices that enhance student learning
- Engage in continuous professional learning and development
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues across academic and pastoral domains
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognised teaching qualification from the UK or a Commonwealth country
- At least 3 years of teaching experience
- Experience working in a British-style education setting
- Experience teaching the IB Diploma Programme or A Levels
Preferred
- Understanding of high-quality Global Citizenship Education in an international context
- Experience teaching in more than one school
- Creative use of technology in teaching and learning
- Experience as a form tutor or homeroom teacher
- Ability to teach Humanities
