The Opportunity:

As a Senior ICT & Network Operations Leader, you will play a key role in managing and developing the school’s ICT infrastructure and services. You will ensure the delivery of secure, resilient, and responsive ICT systems that support the school’s educational goals and strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the Information Systems Support Team and ICT facilities.
  • Develop and implement the school’s ICT strategy to align with educational objectives.
  • Oversee the management of servers, networks, cloud services, end-user devices, and telephony.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection legislation and best practices in information security.
  • Drive continuous improvement in ICT operations and services.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate ICT into school-wide initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership and support to staff and students.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and their potential applications in education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience managing ICT services and support teams in an education setting or similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of ICT infrastructure, networking, and software.
  • Knowledge of data protection legislation and information security best practices.
  • Ability to translate strategic intent into operational activity.
  • Leadership experience within a team environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in the education sector.
  • Familiarity with managing reprographics and ISS teams.
  • Confidence in working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Solution-focused approach and strong communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £41,771 to £48,072.
  • Full-time, permanent position with 37 hours per week.
