The Opportunity:
As a Senior ICT Technician, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining the school’s IT infrastructure across multiple campuses. This is an opportunity to support the seamless use of technology in teaching and learning while ensuring the security and efficiency of all IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain IT systems and infrastructure across multiple school sites.
- Provide proactive and accessible IT support to all users, ensuring minimal disruption to teaching and learning.
- Oversee the helpdesk system and ensure timely resolution of IT issues.
- Ensure the security of all IT hardware through regular updates and patching.
- Collaborate with the Bridewell IT Team to develop and implement IT strategies.
- Support the integration of IT facilities into teaching and learning across all schools.
- Assist in the IT development of the school and the Foundation.
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of IT operations at multiple sites.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in ICT support and infrastructure management.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, hardware, and software.
- Ability to manage and maintain helpdesk operations.
- Experience in providing technical support to both staff and students.
- Familiarity with IT security protocols and best practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience working in a multi-site educational environment.
- Knowledge of teaching and learning technologies.
- Experience with managing IT projects and development initiatives.
- Familiarity with the Bridewell IT Team and its operations.
- Experience with cloud-based IT solutions and remote support tools.
