Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality IT services across the school, ensuring systems are reliable and up to date.
- Support the implementation of the school’s RLT strategy across five key strands, including IT operations and innovation.
- Ensure the IT environment is secure, compliant, and aligned with the school’s vision for digital learning.
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff and students, promoting the effective use of technology.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and maintain a robust IT infrastructure.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in education and IT.
- Manage and maintain all IT equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the school’s IT services.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a senior ICT or IT support role within an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
- Experience in managing and supporting IT services across a school environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Preferred
- Experience with cyber security and IT governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with educational technology and digital learning platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing IT projects and leading a team.
- Awareness of current trends in educational technology and digital innovation.
