The Opportunity:

As a Senior School Deputy Head (Academic), you will play a key role in shaping the academic vision of the school. You will lead the planning, implementation, and review of Senior School provision, ensuring a high-quality education aligned with the English National Curriculum. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new and innovative school in Thailand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership for the planning, implementation, and review of Senior School academic provision
  • Oversee the design and delivery of a rigorous and ambitious curriculum based on the English National Curriculum
  • Foster a culture of high academic and behavioural standards among students and staff
  • Support the Head of School in recruiting a founding team of educators
  • Work closely with the Admissions and Marketing team to promote the school and attract new students
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policy as part of the Senior Leadership Team
  • Manage resources, budgets, and facilities to ensure the smooth running of the school campus
  • Lead regular meetings and ensure effective communication with the school community

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Fully qualified secondary teacher with QTS
  • Strong track record in academic leadership at a high-achieving school
  • Experience in leading accreditation or school inspection processes
  • Experience in supporting the development of students with English as an additional language

Preferred

  • Demonstrated experience in leading the development of young people
  • Strong understanding of current educational initiatives and trends
  • Excellent digital literacy and data analysis skills
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams
